Husker Sew Vac’s trained service technicians offer a variety of service levels to meet the needs of your machine. Our service department is on-site and includes two full-time technicians. Regular maintenance will improve the life of your machine. A consistent maintenance schedule will ensure that your machine runs efficiently for years to come. No matter how old your machine is, we can service it. We want you to leave with a clean and healthy machine to allow you to complete all of your projects. All machines that come into Husker Sew Vac, are handled with care and treated like our own. We carry a large selection of parts. Our Basic Service includes cleaning, oiling, setting tensions, sewing down, and a 22 point check of all adjustments on the machine. We repair all brands of household sewing/embroidery machines and sergers.


We are an Authorized Brother Warranty Center. All factory warranties apply only to the original owner. You will need to bring a copy of your proof of purchase with you at check-in for warranty work if not purchased from us.


Due to limited storage space, we ask that you pick up your machine within 30 days of completion. If you have not picked up your machine within 30 days we will impose a $3.00 per day storage charge. If you have not picked up your machine after 90 days we will dispose of the machine at our discretion.

  • How long does it take?

    Normally we run 1-2 weeks out for service. This could be longer if parts need to be ordered. Please call for our current wait time.

    We do not take appointments for service and repair.

  • How often should I bring my machine in?

    We recommend you get your machine serviced every 1-2 years depending on how heavy of a sewer you are.

  • What do I need to bring?

    We only need your machine. You can leave your accessories, cord, and control at home. 

  • What is included in the service?

    Removing all covers, cleaning, oiling, setting tensions, and a 22 point inspection of all adjustments of the machine. Then the technicians set all adjustments back to factory standards.

  • Are repairs done on-site?

    Yes, all repairs and services are done in our store.

**Please note: Some machines may require an estimated fee upon check-in. Our service department has a bench fee no matter how small of a job.
